BEIJING-- The high-performance, low-priced artificial intelligence model released recently by Chinese start-up DeepSeek has created a wave of attention all over the world. DeepSeek-R1 appears to use that rivals options from the U.S., however the business says it was developed at less than a tenth of the cost of those designs.
